This pattern is very simple yet so artistic. I am very thankful that the photos show the artistic use of fabric that I am looking to create.
Hi Amy, Yes I love the dart quilt pattern. I want to create a quilt for my daughter and son in law in honor of their cat, Baron, who recently passed away. A long time pet companion. I am going to modify it by inserting 6-1/2” squares of fabric with kitty designs in the corners as well as four muslin squares with the imprint of Baron diagonally down from the corners. To symbolize a rainbow, I am using the seven rainbow colors for the bright fabric piece in each of the 6-1/2 squares. I am really looking forward to making this quilt for them!

I was tasked to find a block for my Modern Quilt Guild retreat service quilt. I chose to make Dart. The committee loved it! Each participant will bring strips of desert/cowboy themed fabric to use and share. It will be a great quilt to donate.

I’ve enjoyed the simplicity of this block, made 25 so far and still playing with the layout. Just fun.
