This block has minimal fabrics, making it is quick to cut and quick to piece. Using a stripe fabric as I have in my sample is a fun way to bring the stripe motif full circle, but it would also be fun to fussy cut.

Crosswalk Quilt Block Pattern

I wanted the pattern as its very unusual for me - modern, where I am a very traditional quilter (45 years). I am looking at bit more at modern, and while most of it doesn't appeal to me, some does. I plan on incorporating this block into a sampler quilt in the future.
